Pork and Kraut (slow cooker) January 12, 2011

3 lb. pork roast

1/2 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced

4 pieces bacon

2 c. sauerkraut

1 clove garlic, minced

2 Tbs. maple sugar

1 bay leaf

1 c. water

Place roast in slow cooker, then sauerkraut. Saute bacon and onion. Drain the bacon. Crumble bacon and place onion and bacon on top of sauerkraut. Add garlic, maple sugar, bay leaf, and water. Cook for 8 hours on low.
