At the time I did this recipe, my son could have everything except the rice, and my youngest daughter could have the rice, but not the beef, so I separated them.
1 small head of cabbage, shredded
1 lb. ground beef
1 6-oz. can tomato paste + 2 cans water
sea salt & pepper to taste
1/2 medium Vidalia onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic or onion salt
Fry onion, ground beef, and cabbage until beef is browned. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 15-20 minutes. Serve over rice.
